What inspired me to get into my discipline was my own experiences as an athlete going through the injury rehabilitation process with support staff, and external physios and chiros while competing with the men’s volleyball team during part of my undergrad at Capilano University. This interest of bridging the gap between injury, and return to activity further continued when finishing my undergrad in Kinesiology at UBC where I also participated as an undergrad coaching assistant in the varsity weight room.

My treatment philosophy revolves around a patient centered approach. Combining manual therapy and education by helping people understand their pain, exploring ways to move, and working with them to find out what they need to build capacity for more life.

As an athlete who has overcome his own injuries, Jas has a desire to help individuals regain their pain-free lifestyles.
